weigth 10Kg - The Element C201’s audio circuits receive power from an analog power supply. All power supply stages are stabilized with transistors in Darlington configuration avoiding the typical
circuitry with integrated components commonly used in many preamps.
The circuitry is completely discrete and offers the ability to respond quickly to immediate energy demands and not be affected by all the most severe mains voltage fluctuations.VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
the volume adjustment is entrusted to a digital section that controls two chips (one per channel as proof of the dual mono philosophy) armored in a ceramic container where inside there is an array of resistors that allow, in fact, the variation signal amplitude. the input and output signal always remains analog and only the sweeper control is controlled in the digital domain
With this technology we have eliminated forever those annoying rubbing noises present in every traditional potentiometer to the advantage of the accuracy of the signal amplitude without disturbances remaining immune and constant over time.
Oversized for a preamp, the power supply is equipped with 1 x 35VA toroidal transformer and over 10,000 μF of capacitance per channel.
the PCB is developed on 4 layers with separate ground planes and a plane that acts as an EMI / RFI isolator. This is the ideal setup for isolating parasitic electrical and magnetic interference from the critical signal path in preamp circuits.
The power supply stage is capable of providing current and voltage variations for any musical event, under any conditions of use and with any level of network variation.

There are also numerous common GND points on the board for extended internal grounding.Volume – Double speed volume control allows fine adjustments over a range of nearly 100 dB. The volume control incorporates a permanently silent optical encoder that always maintains its tactile sensitivity, accuracy and channel balance at any GAIN setting. The volume can be adjusted from 0 dB to -90Db dB from the multirole control knob
on the front panel as well as from the multifunction remote control. Rapid turns of
the control knob adjust the volume in 1 dB increments.Film resistors – all resistors are low noise and with 1% tolerance to minimize thermal noise of the active circuitry
