The CD player revolutionized the audio market more than 25 years ago. After initial problems with the musicality of digital reproduction, components have come onto the market in recent years that can be used to achieve a timbre resolution of previously unimagined quality.

Experiences and insights gained through the development and production of our other famous hi-fi CD players have been taken into account when designing the MPLA+. Unlike the RESTEK EPOS+ CD player, the MPLA+ has a drawer system. In connection with the compact housing known from the other hi-fi devices of the M series, the MPLA+ can also be used in spatially limited environments.

The heart of the MPLA+ CD player is sophisticated converter electronics. As in the M-Series digital radios, a high-quality sample rate converter and a high-quality 24-bit 192 kS multi-bit digital-to-analog converter allow a wide range of bit resolutions and conversion rates to achieve the highest level of sound resolution. The music playback of the MPLA+ CD player not only shows a stupendous fine resolution. The sound always remains warm and analogue.

The signal can be attenuated to -99 dB in 1 dB steps using the volume control, which can be switched on and off.

The low output resistance of 50 ohms and the maximum current of up to 35 mA rms of the driver stages enable correct line matching on the one hand and the use of sometimes unavoidably long connection cables between the CD player and the preamplifier or the power amplifier on the other without the music signal getting through the cable is affected.

All parts of the electronics of the MPLA+ CD player are DC-coupled, which makes it possible to transmit even the lowest frequencies. This means that even in the lower frequency spectrum, the transmission is distortion-free and phase-locked.
There are no capacitors or electrolytic capacitors in the signal path that could cause distortion. Noise and crosstalk are just about measurable with the best equipment, but are by no means audible.

The demand for ease of use and functionality is realized through the possibility of operating all special functions using the remote control or a single button. This multifunction knob is the central control unit on the device itself. The drawer can be opened and
closed and playback can be started and stopped by turning it to the left or right. With the help of the integrated pressure contact, many functions of the device can be set and controlled via a menu structure. Similar to a confirmation button on the computer, changed values ​​in the respective menu item are confirmed by pressing.
