In the evening of September 17 in 1975, we were fortunate to make a recording ofGugge Hedrenius Big Blues Band live at Jarlateatern in Stockholm.

The musicians in the band was some of Sweden’s best jazz musicians in those days!

Two American celebrities joined the band this evening: Thad Jones on trumpet and Mel Lewis on drums.

We knew Gugge for a couple of years back due to a lot of test recordings we were doing with his band.Gugge could listen to his arrangements while we were trying out different recording methods.
