The PE 7070 is built on a 50 mm thick MDF chassis, which shows the Perpetuum Ebner-typical, two-part structure. Its adjustable and damped sub-chassis rests on three conical coil springs and carries a massive, 24 mm thick turntable made of high-gloss turned aluminum. In order to keep vibrations away from the signal, the plate and the massive steel floor pan are extensively dampened with bitumen. It can be set up precisely using the three height-adjustable feet, and it can be connected to the rest of the chain either via cinch or symmetrically via XLR.
