ULTIMATE 300 – 300B SILVER – SINGLE-ENDED TUBE PREAMPLIFIER OPTICAL & MM-MC PHONO

ULTIMATE 300 is the top-notch tube preamp & Phono preamp in ThivanLabs’ tube preamp product line. With a look of ”ThivanLabs identity”, the ULTIMATE 300 has two color versions, Silver and Black, for users to choose according to their preferences and sound system.

1. The pinnacle of technical design

One of the most unique points in the design solution of ULTIMATE 300 to achieve the highest musicality is the use of 300B tubes for the main amplifier stage, designed according to the single-ended Class A – Zero Feedback circuit, combined with transformer output technology developed by ThivanLabs specifically optimized for 300B tubes. With this special design, the sound is reproduced “super dynamic and detailed”, “natural, emotional sound” and “an unlimited sound stage extent”.

The power supply module of ULTIMATE 300 is also one of the unique components of the device. The outstanding advantage of the power supply module of the ULTIMATE 300 is the use of many Chokes to purify the power source for the amplifier circuit. These chokes are also specially designed and manufactured, tested extremely rigorously to achieve the best noise filtering ability for the power section. The use of many specialized Chokes for the ULTIMATE 300 really brings an extremely fast, powerful source of energy, while completely preserving the details and musicality, thanks to which the dynamics are extremely high and fast. This is also the outstanding advantage of the ULTIMATE 300 compared to Preamp devices that only use filter capacitors for the power section.

Users can freely mix and match tubes to explore different sound colors, especially with the 300B and 6SN7 tubes (each pair should be a matched pair to get the most balanced sound). The tubes are designed to operate completely Auto Bias, so users can completely rest assured to mix and match a variety of different tube brands.

*** Line Preamp

– 300B uses Transformer output, designed with very low output impedance, so the ability to supply large and fast current, thanks to which the sound can easily achieve very high dynamics.

– The entire signal circuit is designed with the shortest transmission path and Point-to-point connection, helping to preserve the optimal signal. Therefore, the smallest details of the sound to be amplified in a subtle and extremely detailed way.

*** A separated Power Supply

– The power supply is separated into a separate module from the amplifier module to completely eliminate noise in the most optimal way.

– The Power Supply module is specially designed and tested, using a lot of choke coils (L) and Oil capacitors (PIO) to bring a clean, endlessly deep sound background.

– The connection cable is specially tested to optimize extremely durable and stable transmission between the two modules – the main amplifier module and the power supply module.

2. Unique features

– Can use All Types of Cartridges. The Ultimate 300 is integrated a Full of Phono features to meet all types of cartridges available on the market, especially the DS Optical Cartridge.
