211 Power Monoblock is one of our models honored to appear on the cover of German LP magazine No.6 – 2021. This model also received a great compliment from Mr. Holger Barske who tested and reviewed this model “Nothing sounds like a great single head Tube amplifier. If proof is needed, Thivan’s 211 monos will compete with strength and passion.”

The 211 Power Monoblock amplifier is designed in a single-ended circuit. Single-ended has always been a popular choice for sound engineers and audiophiles because of the emotional tonal color that this circuit design brings. The amp is divided into two blocks, one for each channel with a separate power supply to provide maximum crosstalk noise reduction for the amp. Behind the amp cabinets are integrated RCA / Balanced selector switches and input sensitivity switches for convenient connection to various equipment.

This model features typical Thivanlabs electronic engineering design with the use of super-heavy output transformers (OPTs) and extra-large paper-in-oil capacitors (PIOs). Each OPT of the 211 SE Power Monoblock weighs up to 11 kgs. Eight super large PIOs are used for the two channels. In addition, the power supply chokes in the amps are also super large. These solutions help to provide high efficiency, abundant power to the driver tubes and get very low noise. All of our amps work in Class A and Zero Feedback. A great advantage of our amplifiers is that users can directly replace the amp’s tubes with corresponding tubes of other brands without having to calibrate the amp thanks to Auto bias mode.

The 211 Power Monoblock drives well with low-sensitivity speakers thanks to its 56W peak (28W RMS) output. This amp is not picky about the preamp to pair with, so it will be a great convenience for users when it can be combined with a variety of other preamps.
