The RESTEK MINT is a hi-fi integrated amplifier with analog signal preprocessing, a digital Class D power amplifier as a power core and an analogue feedback with four inputs and a volume control that can be switched on and off.

Many Class D power amps are limited to a certain load resistance of z. B. 4 ohms or 6 ohms optimized. If the load resistance deviates – and this is always different in the case of loudspeaker cabinets over the frequency – this results in frequency differences of up to 6 dB, especially at higher frequencies. Unlike the RESTEK MINT: Due to a sophisticated circuit technology of the analogue feedback after the filter, the MINT integrated amplifier has a load-independent frequency response. Whether 2 Ohm, 8 Ohm or even 16 Ohm, the frequency response has a maximum deviation of 0.5 dB in the MINT from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Therefore, the RESTEK MINT lacks the analytical edge that is often encountered. Rather, it always sounds analogous, warm and full, without, however, letting something miss its exactness. The circuit concept with analog pre processing, digital Class D amplifier core and analogue feedback makes it possible for the first time to bring a complete amplifier on the market that sounds “analogue”.

Distortion factor and signal-to-noise ratio set new standards, even for “analog” power amplifiers. The very low output resistance of only 4 Ohm also allows a very tight “leadership” of the speakers. All parts of the electronics of the MINT are DC-coupled, which makes it possible to transmit even the lowest frequencies transfer. This means that distortion-free and phase-locked transmission is also achieved in the lower frequency spectrum.

There are no capacitors or capacitors in the signal path that could cause falsification. Noise and crosstalk are only noticeable at the measurement limit.

The signal can be attenuated to -99 dB in 1 dB increments by means of the volume control that can be switched on and off.

The requirement for easy operation and great functionality is realized by the possibility of operating all special functions by means of the remote control or a single button. With the turn and push button on the front of the amplifier, the volume can be changed by turning left and right. By pressing once or several times you can reach different menu items in which you can specify Trigger functions or “program” settings. After reaching a menu item, you can select the individual settings by turning the knob left or right and then confirm the desired setting by pressing it again, as with a computer by pressing the ENTER key. The menu system then jumps back to the starting position. So z. For example, the balance is selected by pressing the button several times, changed by turning, and confirmed and stored by pressing again.

With this simple control with just one turn-push control, the RESTEK MINT integrated amplifier has the same puristic design as all other M Series hifi devices.
